This doesn't even capture a speck of the beauty we saw passing through West Virginia and into Pennsylvania. I have never seen such magnificent colour. Amazing!
I kept watching for a scenic overlook so I could take pictures when it was really awesome, but didn't see one. I think this picture is actually in Wisconsin, and it looks almost dull in comparison.

The kids had a blast using Grandma's dress up clothes to put on a play for us. This was the villian who destroyed the wedding (in the play). Guess who?
We held off celebrating Emilie's birthday until we could be with family.

The Past Two Weeks in Photos

I took the liberty of posting these pictures of the wedding, since I don't think anyone else in the S family will. I hope that's okay!
I think most of my readers will know who is who, but if you want to know more, just ask.
Anyway, enjoy!
The reason for the party!
I regret this was the best shot we got...they were terribly hard to catch :-)

When they're running around, it seems like twice this many...
Can you believe we didn't plan this?!
The handsome bros. I think the middle one is the best looking :-)
It was great to finally meet Valter (not sure if I'm spelling that right), who is Marcia's man.
Aren't they pretty?
The hot babe in the back row
Grandpa had to sneak out the door so Emilie wouldn't see me. She loved being with him as long as I was out of sight!
The B family at the wedding.
Mom and Dad/Grandpa and Grandma :-)
Very hard to get a good family picture when Emilie's pulling her sister's hair...

On the Road Again

We're leaving tomorrow, headed for PA and RhondaHonda's wedding. (Don't bother checking her blog because she doesn't update :-) Very exciting.

We are stopping at Kirk and Karla's, and I'm very disappointed that she will probably have her baby the week or so after we leave. Unless she has it very, very early. Which would be cool.

It's been a busy weekend and I'm not packed. At all.
Reminds me, I need to go finish my laundry. I'm so tired. Do I say that often???

Overheard

Adrienne, singing "Down in My Heart":
"...I've got the piece of plastic, down in my heart"
