Well, my husband came home with some good news yesterday. He said that the chief residents suddenly realized that they've scheduled Daryl to work almost all the past 12 holiday weekends. So from now on (for the next year or so?) he DOES NOT HAVE TO WORK HOLIDAYS! YEE-HAW! (He doesn't know yet about August, because he is in PICU and
they make their own schedules there.)
So, cheers for our side, and thank you God.

Wow, that's awesome!!! Does that include the long weekend in August? I still haven't been able to convice anyone around here that the US needs a long weekend in August too. :(
