Okay, I guess blogging has not been a huge priority...Sorry to you few and faithful readers.
We are thoroughly enjoying Spring. Just the other night I heard the Spring Peepers from a distance...not too close yet, but they were there! I always forget how much cooler it is here than it is in the city. Everyone there already has tulips, daffodils, etc. blooming. Soon the magnolias will be out...I can't wait.
I fixed up my Happy Spot the other day. I moved a bunch of bricks around to make little tiny vegetable gardens. I can't wait to have a real one, but for now this will do. At least I can hopefully have some lettuce and tomatoes and maybe some peppers or something. I say it's my Happy Spot because it's off of my patio in the back and I like to sit out there to have my morning coffee. I can't wait to plant things...
Last night we tried to find a place to roast hot dogs... The place we were planning to go was still closed for the season, so we found ourselves at Peggy's Cove eating fish and chips and lobster chowder and watching the giant waves roll in. Not a bad substitute :-) But one day hopefully we will just go out our back door to roast our hot dogs in the bush!
The two oldest girls have a piano recital coming up and their MYC teacher gave them a duet to work on. It's exciting to see that they're playing real music now!
I'm practically counting the days until Karla and her people come!!! I'm so pumped to have family practically on their way here!!! :-) None of our siblings have been here yet so this is very exciting.
P.S. If any of you are wondering, I haven't cooked or baked anything terribly exciting recently. I'll try to work on that.

So do you have plans to move back to the bush? Or just dreams? I didn't know your girls were doing MYC. That's great! We really like the program. Caleb is going to graduate this year. I love hearing them make music!
