*I feel like I'm always talking about the weather, but a solid week of heat is amazing here! We have thoroughly enjoyed it and I will not complain. I *almost* feel guilty admitting this, but one of my favourite things is that almost every afternoon, after being outside (sometimes swimming, or whatever) is to lay on the couch and feel the warm breeze blowing through the house. And I even doze off for a bit. It's so lovely.

*I hate Walmart, but had to go there today. I spent $105. Don't tell my husband, I'll wait until he sees the credit card statement. (just kidding) Every time I go there I wonder how the heck my bill got so high. I don't usually buy home decor, and I definitely don't buy it spontaneously, but I found a great picture for our bedroom wall for $10. Score. I love it.

*I'm trying to prepare a little bit, at least, for Hurricane Bill. We can grill next week if/when the power is out, and neighbors tell us we should still have running water. I plan to fill a few jugs just in case. It's supposed to hit hardest Sunday/Monday. Sorry, Mom, but it's kind of exciting. :-) And yes, we have insulin and supplies to last a few weeks.

*We're on family vacation starting Monday, so you probably won't hear from me for awhile. We're going camping and looking forward to a week of "nothing" to do!
