*I hate Walmart, but had to go there today. I spent $105. Don't tell my husband, I'll wait until he sees the credit card statement. (just kidding) Every time I go there I wonder how the heck my bill got so high. I don't usually buy home decor, and I definitely don't buy it spontaneously, but I found a great picture for our bedroom wall for $10. Score. I love it.
*I'm trying to prepare a little bit, at least, for Hurricane Bill. We can grill next week if/when the power is out, and neighbors tell us we should still have running water. I plan to fill a few jugs just in case. It's supposed to hit hardest Sunday/Monday. Sorry, Mom, but it's kind of exciting. :-) And yes, we have insulin and supplies to last a few weeks.
*We're on family vacation starting Monday, so you probably won't hear from me for awhile. We're going camping and looking forward to a week of "nothing" to do!
*I'll leave you with the chant I heard Adrienne singing in the van today:
Me and Olivia sitting in a tree
B-I-S-S-G and G
Here comes the baby and the baby carriage
The carriage said,
"Hey, get out of the tree!"
"Hey, get out of the tree!"
(She was very pleased with herself for that one)

That is too cute! Be safe and enjoy your vacation!
I can just hear her saying that too! Someday when she reads it she'll get a good laugh at herself.
So, if 'Bill' isn't to hit there until the week-end and you leave for camping, you should be further away from it then you'd be if you'd be at home, wouldn't you? Anyway, my prayers for your safe keeping will continue.
Hopefully you're not camping on the beach. :) (sorry, Rita) Have a great week. I loved A's chant. :)
Very cute song Adrienne!
This is the first i've heard of this hurricane. How serious are we talking? Aren't you scared?
I hope you guys have a great vacation!!!

love the chant. :D
Maybe someday she can write cards for Hallmark or something. have fun camping!
I heard the hurricane hit and I was going to email you.... then I thought you probably don't have power. But you commented on my blog... so you must. Anyway.... how was it? On the radio they said lots of people are out driving around - trying to see something, big waves, anything to take pictures of. Authorities are advising people to NOT do this and I imagined you and your girls driving around for pictures! :-) Stay safe. Don't go to Peggy's Cove! And save the blueberry picking for another day! I'm happy for you to have found a place to pick. That's exciting.
that little chant is hilarious! Thanks for the good laugh!

I always think the same thing when I go to Wal-mart, "How in the world could I have spent THAT much???" I finally figured it out...it's all the tax they add at the end!
