I got to talk to Daryl last night, and it looks like he will be home by Saturday morning/noon! That is the big news around here. (Although I haven't told the girls yet, because I don't want to get their hopes up) He left Mandritsara on the bus this morning, and hopefully will be able to come straight through without stopping for the night. He was very happy that he is travelling with a missionary from there, so it will be nice for him to have someone with him, both for company and for the language. I'm expecting he will be quite tired when he gets here, as it is a long drive over bad roads. People seem to think it's amusing that he's coming back by bus, so I'm anxious to hear what it's like.
Tomorrow we're planning a birthday party for Anna-Christina and Olivia. Their birthdays will both happen as soon as we get back, and I'm expecting to be tired and busy unpacking. Plus, it will be fun for them to be able to celebrate with their cousins! Hopefully Daryl will be here in time as well!
Right now the house is very quiet...Caitlyn and Anna-Christina are at a school fun day, and everyone else except Olivia is sleeping. I think I will go prepare some food for tomorrow while I can, and maybe brew a cup of tea. (Speaking of which, I found out I am not addicted to coffee, much to my delight. It's not easy to find good coffee here, and happily, I have not had headaches or anything. Just thought you all might be interested to know:-))
