Yes, it's a happy new year!
Today I made pancakes for the kids, Daryl's off to work for a while, I'm still in my pjs, kids are playing outside in the fresh snow. We're all going out when D gets home. Gotta hit the slopes while the snow lasts! (sledding, that is)
We had a great Christmas with D's family in PA. Of course it was a little crazy at times, but it's a good kind of crazy! We actually had a pretty quiet Christmas morning with Grandpa, Grandma and the 6 of us. The girls were thrilled with their gifts. It was great fun to see their faces when they opened them.
It's interesting for me to think about new years resolutions this year. I don't know what it will hold! If I picture the calendar year, it looks like most of it is in the dark. The wonderful thing is that God sheds light on it exactly when we need it. So we'll walk ahead and wait for the light!
