North Carolina

We all enjoyed the few nice days we had on the Outer Banks of North Carolina! The house we stayed at had a private pool, and we had 2 beautiful days that were warm enough for the beach. The girls had a blast playing with cousins, building sand castles, and playing in the ocean.


They built some great sandcastles! The ocean was super cold, but Daryl and some of his siblings braved the water. I was happy to lay in the sun.
The days when it wasn't so nice, we stayed inside and played games, visited and went for walks. It was so much fun to be with the whole Schantz family. There were 22 of us altogether. Good thing the house was huge!
